Accessories for Preparation of Metallographic Mounted Specimens
Preparation of metallographic specimens using the MiniMet is done using the caged specimen holders or by drilling a hole into the back of mounted specimens and using the pin holder that comes with the unit. Use 2.875” [73mm]-diameter grinding paper and polishing cloths.

Accessories for Wafer Polishing
Use the Wafer Polishing Attachment to thin wafers up to 30mm diameter. Wafers are affixed to the polishing attachment using 40-8150 Crystalbond wax.
