PetroThin® Thin Section Machine
PetroThin
Gravity-fed Precision Sectioning Machine
The PetroThin Thin Section Machine is a versatile, 8in [203mm] tabletop cutter and grinder, perfectly suited for crafting thin sections of a wide range of materials, including bone, ceramics, concrete, petrographic samples, and more. Utilizing a diamond blade for re-sectioning and a cup grinding wheel for reducing to thin sections, this machine prioritizes precise control to deliver results that conventional sectioning and grinder-polisher equipment simply can’t. For optimal results, complement your PetroThin with Buehler’s high-performance diamond / CBN blades and cup grinding wheels for a solution that sets the standard.
