Precision Vises for Sectioning

Precision Vising

Vising for Precision Saws and Cutters

Our selection of vises and chucks for precision machines are made to accommodate a wide range of sample sizes and shapes so you can select the one that best meets your specific requirements.

The IsoMet High Speed features our unique rapid rail system so you can quickly and effortlessly set up your samples in the cutting chamber. Additionally, the IsoMet High Speed offers the flexibility to install a T-slot table making it compatible with our line of abrasive vises–an ideal choice for larger and more durable parts.

Vise and Chuck Options:

  • Saddle Chuck – The standard solution for cutting a wide range of samples with quick and easy setup. Use a double saddle chuck to secure the sample on both sides of the blade
  • Mount Chuck – Excellent for holding standard-sized rounds for sectioning
  • Glass Slide Chuck – Ideal for securing glass slides and other small, flat samples
  • Fastener Chuck – Well-suited for cutting small fasteners and coupons
  • Bone Chuck – Perfect for cutting bone, plastics, and other semi-rigid specimens
  • Wafer Chuck – Use mounting wax to glue specimens to this chuck
  • Irregular Specimen Chuck – Designed for holding challenging geometric parts
  • Bar and Tube Chuck – Great for securing small, cylindrical parts
  • Vacuum Chuck – Designed to hold specimens mounted to glass slides
  • Abrasive Sliding and Vertical Vises (only on the IsoMet High speed) – Excellent for clamping larger and more durable parts
