VibroMet® 2 Vibratory Polisher

VibroMet 2

Vibratory Polisher

The VibroMet 2 vibratory polisher, with a large, 12in [305mm] working surface for multiple samples, is designed to prepare high quality polished surfaces for a wide variety of applications, including EBSD analysis. The horizontal oscillation technique produces exceptional flatness and a stress-free surface without need for the hazardous electrolytes required by electro-polishers. Combine with MasterMet 2 colloidal silica suspension for unparalleled results.

VibroMet 2 benefits

Unmatched Surface Quality and Consistency
  • Flat working surface produces flat and even polishing
  • Motor oscillates at 7200 rpm; maximizes contact with polishing cloth for highly effective polishing
  • High quality polish makes it ideal for Electron Back-Scatter Diffraction (EBSD) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)
Easy to Use
  • Adjustable amplitude to adjust for sample size, number of samples, and material
  • Quick load sample holders
