A special nozzle applies a current across the sample’s surface along a defined area of the sample. The result is a plug and play process that eliminates steps in grinding and polishing of materials and achieves an etched surface. #### Metallography without Acids Traditional etching requires metallographic etchants such as Picral, Nital, Marbles reagent, and many others.
